Terms of Use (EULA)

Welcome to Soundwave. By downloading, accessing, or using the Soundwave mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. License Grant
Soundwave grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App strictly in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s App Store standard terms and conditions.
2. User Accounts
To use certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy
Soundwave allows users to publish journal writings to a public feed and upload images. We maintain a strict, zero-tolerance policy against objectionable content and abusive behavior. By submitting content to Soundwave, you agree to the following rules:
No Objectionable Content: You may not upload images or publish journal writings that are defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, explicit, violent, or otherwise offensive.
No Abusive Behavior: You may not use the App to bully, harass, or threaten other users.
Moderation and Removal: We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, monitor, and remove any user-generated content at our sole discretion, at any time, and for any reason, without notice.
Reporting and Blocking: Users have the ability to report inappropriate content and block abusive users directly within the App. We will review all reports and take appropriate action, including content removal, typically within 24 hours.
4. Account Termination
Any user found to be generating objectionable content or engaging in abusive behavior will have their account immediately and permanently banned from Soundwave. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice or liability, for any breach of these Terms.
5. Intellectual Property
All original content, features, and functionality of the App (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Soundwave and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You retain ownership of the journal writings and images you upload, but grant Soundwave a license to display that content within the App.
6. Apple App Store Terms
You acknowledge and agree that these Terms are concluded between you and Soundwave only, not with Apple Inc. Soundwave, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.
